When to use it
- For writing that belongs to a moment: notes, opinions, responses to something happening now.
When not to use it
- For a project write-up. Use a case study.
- For content you'll keep updating. Use a standard page; a date on top tells readers the page is a snapshot.
Fields
| Field | Max characters | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Title | 100 | Required. The page's h1, the collection card and the browser tab. We recommend under 70 characters so it holds to two or three lines on a card. |
| Date | — | Required. Shown above the title and on the card. A future date keeps the post private until that day. |
| Description | 300 | Optional. Shown on the collection card and as the search result summary, not on the post itself. Write a reason to read, not a recap. We recommend under 160 characters. |
